Blu Ray Player 2 Hdmi Out

I have a 4k blu ray role player with 2 hdmi outputs.
One for audio and the other for video or audio and video.
My question, I have a 4k amp so should I simply use a single hdmi or will I gain any benefit from using one for video and the other for audio?

Just use unmarried HDMI you won't do good using duel HDMI not for a 4K amp anyway.

The only reason yous would use both HDMI outputs is if your Boob tube was a 4K TV and the amp wasn't certified. From that point this should enable yous to decode DTS-MasterAudio and Dolby TrueHD sound tracks including many older formats too (always consult your manual though) without needing to update your amp withal. If however you amp has the ability, so use the main output and forget about the second output

My receiver supports 4K/HDR passthrough, merely I notwithstanding employ both outputs on my bluray player, with video directly to the TV and audio to the receiver.

My main reason for doing and then is that I want to use unlike settings on my Boob tube for DVDs/Blurays/Netflix than for my game consoles, so this way I can accept my bluray actor on ane input and my receiver's output on another. I don't get whatever on-screen brandish from my receiver when watching a movie (I still tin see letters on the receiver's display though), just to me that'southward a fair tradeoff for non constantly having to go and alter settings based on what I'm doing.

Players with dual HDMI outputs first became a thing with the appearance of HDMI 1.4 and the introduction of sequential 3D Blu-rays. HDMI version 1.iv included new standards to embrace the conveyance of 3D via HDMI.
